“ I stopped in after a hike at the Carl Sandburg house just down the street as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties. The staff was great and agreed to make me an iced London Fog (versus hot) which isn't on their menu. It was a little watery, but it isn't something they make so it was fine ;) I got the blueberry/rosemary scone which was definitely more rosemary than blueberry but was baked well. There was a lot of seating variety with indoor and outdoor options. Just a lovely spot to hang out, although I was taking my items to go. ”
“ Phenomenal coffee shop with amazing coffee options. This is not your average shop. They have an array of specialty roasts, and they roast their coffee in house. The staff is super kind and helpful. The barista was knowledgeable about coffee varieties and helped us make the best choice for drinks given our preferences, and helped us pick out beans for home pour overs. When I told her I loved espresso tonics, she made me one even though it wasn’t on the menu, and it was fantastic! My husband also really loved his pour overs. We will definitely be back! ”
